2007.03.01 - Snow Patrol @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium : The show was packed. Packed with teenies. Good show...much bigger production than when we saw them at Warfield last year. Lights were cool and turned out decent in the pictures. I took some terrible pictures of the group...but missed the Lock sister and a group photo.

2006.10.29 - Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds @ Santa Barbara Bow : Wine tasting before Dave & Tim. We hit up Sanford, Firestone and Curtis. Dave & Tim was awesome. It was cold! Some random shots from nose bleeds. Even up there, the seats weren't bad. Enjoy.

2006.09.30 - Guster, Nada Surf and Tristan Prettyman @ Berkeley Community Theatre : The best seats I've ever got off ticketbastard for any show. I never realized how often the guys changed their instruments. Probably one of the best shows I've seen all year. Tristan was great of course and Nada Surf held their ground. I should have brought the Rebel...no one was checkin. Next time.

2006.09.24 - Snow Patrol and Augustana @ The Warfield : I earned these pictures. We were there early and(not to be insensitive...) fought off numerous homeless people begging for money. One lady actually grabbed my arm and got on her knees. She quickly got it together with the cops rounded the corner. Good ol Market Street. Great show. It was a bit short...but still..Snow Patrol didn't let us down.

2006.09.20 - Matt Nathanson @ Sweetwater : Matt Nathanson at Sweetwater...it doesn't get too much better than this. We only missed 2 or 3 songs tending to my brother who literally passed out in Kat's arms due to the heat. Matt leaned over the stage asking if he should wait(to play until my brother woke up..haha) and handed him a water. Kat went nurse prac. mode and I plowed through the crowd to get a wet towel. We carried him outside to get him some air and shortly returned for the rest of the show. I was packing my 50mm 1.8 and ended up with some good shots even though I was back a row from the front. April helped me get a couple great pictures since I was blocked by some tall dood.

2006.09.06 - DMB @ Raley Field : I was front row for the first time this show. My friend Kat got a random upgrade through the fan club and I had the honor of sitting with her. The security was chill and allowed us to take pics without flash. All of these shots were with my new Fujifilm F30. I wish I had my Rebel...but I don't think it would have been ok with security. The beginning of the show was pretty relaxed as the band played a couple of old tunes. Towards mid set they played their new songs and Robert Randolph sat in towards the end of the set for one of the best renditions of Two Step I have ever heard. Two Step put this show over the edge for me.

2006.09.03 - DMB @ The Gorge (Columbia River Scenic View and Wild Horse Monument) : On the way back from Vantage, we visited the Wild Horse Monuments and look out points. The walk up to the horses was a little steep. Don't leave home without your tripod! Little did we know we were in for a one of the most kick ass DMB sets ever(IMO).

2006.07.24 - Songs for Friends - An Evening with Jason Mraz at The Montalvo Arts Center : Great intimate show. Got the 50 1.8. Seats were decent. Small venue...only 1100 or so. I chose to crop some of these...something I rarely like to do...but with so many heads in my shots...I had no choice.

2006.07.15 - Pearl Jam @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium : I'm amazed I survived this concert, let alone get some pictures taken. My friends and I were on the brink of fighting numerous times. Good show though. It is a little funny how I caught myself smiling while shoving fools off me. I am GLAD I didn't bring the Rebel...it would have never made it out alive.

2006.07.14 - Foo Fighters @ Berkeley Community Theatre : If you can barely see them! hahahha. Not bad for what I had to work with. I brough the P&S. I was sitting lower Balcony. The thing about hot weather is....you have no baggy clothes to smuggle in the big camera =). Great show.

2006.04.28 - ALO @ 12 Galaxies : This concert was HOT. Musically and literally. People stripped down to their boxers and took off their shirts. I even saw titties bouncing around. Great jams at an intimate venue. All these pics were taken from my 50mm 1.8. The light was extremely dim, but I managed. At some points I felt my 50 wasn't wide enough and found myself backing up. I think my last pic is the best and I was practically on my knees for that shot with the stage towering above me.

2006.04.23 - Todd Hannigan, Syd and Patrick Thomas @ Rockit Room : Let me start with a story. A couple years ago when I went to visit my good friend Rob at University of Texas, Austin, he played "Here's a Love Song" by Syd. Good song. We went hit the bars...got a bit drunk came back and Rob put it on again. NO...We are not lovers. haha. We passed out in the living room with it on repeat. I came back from a great weekend trip of frisbee golf and bar hopping and bought Syd's CDs. After I bought the CDs...I saw he covered Blink 182 - Damnit. A real cool, chill redition. Come to realize...I had it downloaded from Napster back from Freshman year in the dorms. Funny how Napster actually introduced me to two of my favorite artist...Howie Day...(stumbled onto his DMB-#41 cover and was hooked) and then Syd. From then on...I could only watch as Syd posted tour dates on the east coast. This last Sunday I got a chance to actually attend a show at Rock-It-Room, SF. It was a Sunday show but totally worth it. Syd and Patrick Thomas opened up for Todd Hanningan. Best 5 bucks I've spent. Great times! First time I used my 50mm 1.8 at an actual concert/club setting. Light was less than wonderful and hard as hell too shoot in. I wish I had a 1.4. Anyway..enjoy the pictures.

2006.04.14 - Koo Chung, Jinny Kim and David Cho : Today I got the chance to try out my new 50mm 1.8. The lighting situation was less than great...but I think I made out good. I wish I had a 200mm 2.8...but this 50mm 1.8 Mark I is going to have to do until I find $800 >=). My good friend Lynne helped organized a concert at her church featuring Koo Chung, Jinny Kim and David Cho. It was a great show and a relaxing/uplifting way to close out my busy work week. Thanks to Lynne for saving me a spot up front. Enjoy the pics.

I also met many WHers that I've never met in person but know their typing habits. We all traveled to Red Rocks for the same reason: For the love of DMB. GOOD GOOD TIMES! I miss it already.

2001.05.19 - DMB @ Pac Bell Park : This was my 3rd DMB show all time. The previous night I did not bring my camera and Santana showed up. This night Trey showed up. With one of my first credit cards in hand, I joined Warehouse and got these tickets. From then on, I've been hooked. It's a sickness. These pictures were taken with my Mom's Canon Elph S100. They look like crap. Look how far we've come in the digital age.
